Kamilaroi owned and created

I grew up in a small country town on Kamilaroi country called Mungindi until I went to boarding school. I now currently work and reside on Wurundjeri country.

I was taught to weave on a retreat for Aboriginal women in health and I am forever grateful to the women who shared their knowledge of weaving with me, as well as those who learnt alongside me.

Throughout my life I have struggled with my mental health. Weaving is an incredibly powerful tool that helps me stay grounded by connecting to my ancestors and their strength.

Enormous care is put into everything I make. I hope that you find a piece that connects with you and reminds you of your inner strength.

'yulaa-li' is a Kamilaroi word that can be translated to "tie" or "to tie up"

My family continually inspires me, especially my two sisters, Dakota and Ebony. I wanted my sisters to be the main faces of Yulaa-li as they encapsulate everything I want my brand to be; resilient, generous and creative.
